Benevolence
Bethel Rural Community Organization provides assistance to individuals, schools, and organizations through its Benevolence Committee projects.

Education
A major component of Bethel Rural Community Organization's mission is to provide educational opportunities for its membership. The organization's bi-monthly meetings feature speakers who relay information about informative topics of interest to members and visitors.
Members also attend and/or present workshops and seminars that educate about topics of relevance to the organization
The Education Committee, working in conjunction with Pisgah High School's Guidance Department, screens and selects a deserving senior to receive a $500 scholarship to the educational institution of the student's choice.

Food Pantry
In keeping with Bethel Rural Community Organization's mission to assist Bethel residents, the pantry works with MANNA Food Bank as well as local grocers/produce stands/farms to provide nourishing food to supplement the needs of local citizens who qualify.

Beautification
Bethel Rural Community Organization's home base is the historic Bethel Presbyterian Church which is leased from the Western Regional Presbytery. In order to be good stewards of the facility, BRCO conducts maintenance, upkeep, and historically appropriate improvement projects to enhance the 1885 sanctuary/1964 addition to the structure.

Rentals
BRCO offers a service to the community by providing the facility for rental for anniversary celebrations, birthday parties, class instruction, class reunions, retirement events, showers, etc.
